The Shays for Congress campaign today called on Diane Farrell to pull her dishonest ad, "Bold Ideas,” which is airing now on local television stations throughout the Fourth District. The ad features an individual who claims to have supported Christopher Shays in the past but is changing his vote this year. In fact, according to today’s issue of The Hour, two individuals in the ad are Democrats who have never supported Shays. The Farrell campaign refuses to identify the other people featured in the ad.

"Chris’ opponent approved a TV ad that is flat-out dishonest," said Michael Sohn, Shays for Congress campaign manager. "She wants viewers to think that the people in her ads used to support Chris and now support her. In fact, two people in the ad are Democrats and have been active with the party for years. They have never supported Chris and to suggest otherwise is wrong.”
